World Honors Euphonium-Tuba Ensemble Audition Information
Auditions are being held for the WORLD HONORS EUPHONIUMTUBA ENSEMBLE, which will be performing on stage at the International Tuba-Euphonium Conference in Lahti, Finland in August 200L Euphonium and tuba players between the ages of 16 and 30 are eligible to audition* for this select ensemble of approximately 14 players. The program for this concert will present music representing composers from several countries, including the Scandanavian countries. For a world class musical experience and an opportunity to perform with outstanding musicians from other countries, audition for the World Honors Euphonium-Tuba Ensemble. Rehearsals for the ensemble will be held daily for 90 minutes at ITEC 2001 and the performance will be on August 12th.
*Persons who are employed full-time in professional symphony orchestras, military bands, or college/university positions are ineligible to audition.

Application and Fees: All participants must submit to the Competitions Coordinator an application form and an entrance fee of $25.00 (U.S.). (Please use the same form as is used for the other competitions found online at (www.musicfinland.com/brass/itec) or on this page below.)
Audition tapes: DO NOT include any identification marks on the cassette tape or on the cassette box. Tapes will be numbered and presented anonymously to the preliminary adjudication committee. Tapes will not be returned to the entrants. Other media will be accepted, including CD, DAT and Mini-disc. Whatever media is used, please, no labeling of any kind.
Deadlines: All applications and tapes must be received no later than March 1, 2001. Entrants from outside the United States should send tapes and applications by air mail or similar air express services in order to insure prompt delivery. Entrants chosen to perform will be notified approximately April 15, 2001 by the Competitions Coordinator.
