New Hire: Joel Collier, Cory Band

Joel Collier has recently earned a Baritone position with the Cory Band in Wales and began playing with the band in May 2023. In addition to twice weekly rehearsals, the Cory Band maintains a regular schedule of performances and recordings. Dr. Collier is a multi-award winning composer and euphonium soloist, specializing in music for brass band. Prior to joining the Cory Band, Joel has been a member of the JMU Brass Band, Atlantic Brass Band, the Southern Territorial Band, South Carolina Brass Band, River Brass, and others. He has established a career in higher education, having held positions at Allen University and University of South Carolina, and is currently serving as an Impact Officer at Cardiff University.
