Christopher Hall has won a position as a tubist with the United States Air Force Regional Bands. He will begin serving in this role in Fall 2023. Duties will include performing in the concert band and brass quintet at both ceremonial and educational events. Christopher attended the Interlochen Arts Academy and graduated in 2017, after which he began his Bachelors in Music at the University of Michigan. He was Principal Tuba of the Adrian Symphony Orchestra from 2019 to 2023. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2021, he started a Masters in Music and a Masters in Science in Business Leadership at the University of Miami (FL) through the Frost School of Music and the Herbert School of Business. He has played with the Adrian Symphony Orchestra, the Sarasota Orchestra, the Frost Wind Ensemble, and the University of Michigan Symphony Band. He has recorded with the Adrian Symphony Orchestra, and with the University of Michigan, he was part of a Grammy-Nominated recording project of John Luther Adams’s Sila: the Breath of the World. His teachers include Dr. Aaron Tindall, David Zerkel, Fritz Kaenzig, and Tom RIccobono.
