The Mock Band Audition Tuba gives students the opportunity to show their skills in the wind band repertoire. The repertoire and setup is like a regular audition.

Eligibility
All NERTEC competitions are open to contestants of every race, gender and nationality. Each contestant must be a member of ITEA at the time of the live rounds of the competition. Final Round Competitors must be present at NERTEC 2024 held May 24-25, 2024, at George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. Final Live Round Competitions will begin and end on Friday, May 24, 2024. Winners of any other competitions (ITEC, other regionals, Falcone, USABTEW, etc.) are eligible to participate. Entrants/competitors must never have held a full-time professional position as a performer or teacher.Criteria
The competitors should submit their best technical and musical expression for the music selections.Rules
The competitor will submit one audio recording of the posted excerpts. The finalists will perform live. The first-place winner will be given a chance to perform on May 25.Submission of materials
