Tuba Artist Solo - SCRTEC 2024

Eligibility

All SCRTEC competitions are open to contestants of every race, gender and nationality. Each contestant must be a member of ITEA at the time of the live rounds of the competition. Competitors must be registered and present at SCRTEC 2024 held March 6-9, 2024 at the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. *Competitions will begin on Thursday, March 7, 2024 and conclude Friday, March 8, 2024. Those selected as Finalists for the solo competitions must be prepared for rehearsals with pianists beginning the afternoon/evening of Thursday, March 7, 2024. Some competitions may have preliminary and final competition on the same day. Please be sure to check the page of each competition and the conference schedule for specific dates. Competitors must use the assigned SCRTEC pianists, no guest pianists will be allowed. *Previous SCRTEC competition 1st place winners may not enter the same category again. However, they may enter a different category. Second and third-place winners are eligible to re-enter the same category again. Winners of any other competitions (ITEC, other regionals, Falcone, USABTEW, etc.) are eligible to participate. Entrants/competitors must never have held a full-time professional position as a performer or teacher.
