Eligibility
For the purposes of this competition, a tuba or euphonium “enthusiast” is defined as an adult (18+) player who has never earned the majority of their wages as a performing musician or music educator, and who does not have a college degree (or international equivalent) in music. All competitors must be ITEA members. College students currently completing a music degree are not eligible. For eligibility questions, email iteacompetitions@gmail.com.
Criteria
Instead of a required list of repertoire, competitors will submit a video of any performance that represents their best playing. Competitors may submit videos from as far back as June 1, 2021 as long as they meet the requirements.
Information
There is no entry fee for this competition! Winners will be invited to perform on a showcase recital at ITEC and they will also be offered a spot in an ITEA masterclass.
