Artist Solo Euphonium:

Artist Solo Tuba:
• First Round: Twenty Characteristic Etudes, Etude #2 by Gregory Fritze (Tuba Euphonium
Press) NOTE: tempo app. Quarter =116. All repeats first time, no repeats after DC
• Final Round: Concerto for Bass Tuba, complete by Ralph Vaughan Williams

Student Solo Euphonium (competitor must not be 20 years old by March 19, 2026):
• First Round: Proverbs, movements 4 & 5 ONLY by Lynn Blake John (Cimarron Music Press)
• Final Round: Concertino No. I in Bb, Op. 7, movement 1 ONLY by Julius Klengel, arr. Leonard Falcone (Tuba Euphonium Press)

Student Solo Tuba (competitor must not be 20 years old by March 19, 2026):
• First Round: Cadenza and Groove by Brooke Pierson (Taurus Music Publication)
• Final Round: Two Latin Dances, Complete by Lauren Bernofsky
(Presser) NOTE: contrabass version

Chamber Music (Any combination of 3-8 tubas or euphoniums):
Perform 8-10 minutes of music. Can be arrangements, original compositions,
transcriptions. Groups are encouraged to perform music that strongly showcases their
strengths as an ensemble.
