Commissions Committee
Purpose:
The Commissions Committee evaluates quarterly requests for consortium funding made by members in good standing of the International Tuba Euphonium Association (ITEA).
Duties:
Together they assess the proposals, determine if there is a long-term plan for promoting the proposed work for its premiere and future performances, and gauge the artistic value added to the tuba and euphonium repertoire.
ITEA is committed to supporting a wide range of creative projects that highlight the euphonium and/or tuba in both solo and chamber music settings. Our goal is to foster artistic growth across a diverse spectrum of styles, genres, and voices by actively funding a greater number of commissions.
