I purchased this Tuba Brand New in 2018. Over the years the lacquer has worn off which is why I have a white cover over where your hand would sit. I’ve shown the lacquer wear in one of the pictures. I’ve used it for Solos, Brass Quintet, and Brass Band. It is patterned after the Besson 983. I believe it projects better.
