This competition is designed for ITEA members who do not perform or teach music for a living.
Tuba / Euphonium Enthusiast Competitive Showcase
ELIGIBILITY
For the purposes of this competition, a tuba or euphonium “enthusiast” is defined as an adult (18+) player who has never earned the majority of their wages as a performing musician or music educator, and who does not have a college degree (or international equivalent) in music. All competitors must be ITEA members. College students currently completing a music degree are not eligible. For eligibility questions, email iteacompetitions@gmail.com.
SUBMISSION OF MATERIALS
Submit a YouTube link with the video. Videos should be 10 minutes or less; adjudicators will stop watching after 10 minutes.
There is no entry fee for this competition! Winners will be invited to perform on a showcase recital at ITEC and they will also be offered a spot in an ITEA masterclass.
